Hi Guys!
I'm just wondering is here someone who tested with VGA Box SQRXZ series (from http://www.sqrxz.de)??
I have idea to make a compilation cd with this games (and maybe more...) but first I must to known that works properly at 31kHz. I'd tried with nullDC without success - emulator can't answer at this question.
... of course if you have been tested other titles (or can do that for me using SDReader), let me know too.

Cheers! :)

I might be wrong, but I think anything that is programmed using KallistiOS is compatible with Dreamcast VGA output. That being said though, I'm not sure if sqrxz and other 2D games use 480p resolution (it probably varies). If not, then they might look pixelated and blocky in 480p. Still should be playable though. I was testing Cave Story DC with VGA the other day, and I thought it looked a little pixelly, but was totally playable, so I can at least confirm that one. That one also has a VGA option in the menu that I turned on, but I don't know how much of a difference it made.

That's probably as you said - for KOS software VGA IS default switch on.
But what with SDL games? Anyone knowns? (I should check this at dev documentation, maybe it's something reported there).

Every game using 480p might be made as 240p (ie Cave Story) - Dreamcast at this differences display game like that at 480p automatically but still game is in low res. This is made to keep compatibility between resolutions that yours TV/monitor can display (99,9% new devices can't reproduce 320x240).

Thanks for all sugestions! :)
Regards

EDITED: Quick search shows me that SDL is build as part of KOS. Going this way - VGA mode should work too for games using this library.
When I check this I will let you guys to know...

Okay, good. I'm glad that that was settled. I also realized that I checked noiz2sa as well, and it worked fine through VGA.
