Use ImgBurn. Take a look at the Lounge and you'll see a recent topic with a tutorial link.

DiscJuggler doesn't seem to work with Dreamcast images on newer versions of Windows, so you should probably use Imgburn with the CDI plugin if you're not on Windows XP.

^It's not just that, newer versions of DJ just don't burn DC games right most of the times, you really have to use older versions (up to v3 if I remember correctly).

Ive got discjuggler 6 running on Windows 7 and ive done about 30 discs in the past two weeks and all have worked perfectly.

I have the V4 demo on my site. I've always used that version for DC discs, and it's always worked. I figured newer versions would probably break something, so I never "upgraded".

Well, I guess that it can work, but I remember that the general advice a few years ago about burning DC games was to use older versions of DJ.
Either way, with DJ and with Alcohol you have to be careful with what options you select, but in turn with ImgBurn is way simpler, all you have to do is to load the .CDI and proceed to burn it (guaranteed that the Padus CDI Plugin files are on the ImgBurn install folder), no need to mess with options.
A lot of people comment that they can achieve better results with ImgBurn, and besides, it's free (no need to mess with cracks or licenses, that eventually expire with updates, etc) and it's updated regularly but not excessively.

hmmm... well i got fed up and input the codes manually with codebreaker. I also use a windows 7 but this is the first game ive had any trouble with it. Ill have to try imgburn next, after i get some more cdr's ha.
But i had another question as to pso on this server: when i connect with my original pso v2 us it will show hunters active on the ship but at the counter there will be no teams to join. Is this simply because they're using a version of pso not playable with mine?

There are multiple reasons for teams being invisible:
- You joined Block01, and the team is on Block02
- You're on V1, and the team is set to V2 mode
- You're on DC, and the team is set to PC-only mode
- You're on PC, and the team is set to DC-only mode
- You're on DC/PC, and the team is for GC players
- The person in the team used the /npc command, turning it into a solo team
The most common instance is V1 players being unable to see V2 teams, but it's pretty rare for people to deliberately limt their teams to DC or PC players. We do get GC players now and then, but that's also rare.
