Trying to play Quake III with DC players on a PC

Post by XXz_gamer »

I've been trying to hop on the DC servers with my PC copy, how can I do so? I just get a "awaiting connection" and a countup
then below that "server uses protocol 43"

Help :?

If you do not have the 1.16n patch and the Dreamcast map pak, that would be a problem.

If you do have these things loaded, you would need the DC-Talk IP addy (unless you have that too).

I just installed both and now it doesn't work at all. It gets to the "id" screen and freezes.

I was able to fix it, but now I get the same awaiting connection screen.
