Good day everyone, we are Crystal Triad Productions and today we are announcing Warforce. Warforce is a 3D First Person Shooter that focuses online via the broadband adapter (though possible modem support). We use a heavily modified version of the Yeti3D engine.

Some of the features of our engine include:

Support for hardware based rendering from the SEGA Dreamcast's PowerVR based graphics chip.
5.1 surround sound audio support.
Support for SEGA Dreamcast and Microsoft Windows.
Full Support for the SEGA Dreamcast's SD card reader.
Real time physics system.

We would also like to announce some of the features our game will take use of:

The game-play is designed for use of the SEGA Dreamcast's Controller.
QSOUND enhanced audio.
Dreamcast exclusive title.

More features will be announced at a little date.

Thanks,

Crystal Triad

We will have screenshots soon, we promise.
KB/M will not be supported, we have designed the gameplay around the SEGA dreamcast's controller. Just like how Retro Studios designed Metroid Prime's gameplay around the Nintendo GameCube's controller.

We would love to but sadly it's not possible for any homebrew game to use the Modem for anything as there has been no real work done to the modem driver. Though we might pay a contractor to finish the modem driver so you can play online via your 33.6/56k modem.

Wow. It sounds very exciting!
Yeti3D engine
That looks like it's for real. There is a Yeti3D port to DC and it's working perfectly. I even did a simple map that was working on DC!

Please like us on facebook for the latest news updates and screenshots. The 5.1 surround sound is only supported on the Mircosoft Windows platform unfortunately. We use QSOUND in our audio files for our SEGA Dreamcast games.

We based our engine on that port and have upgraded it.
