Well, the odd thing is the required "IDE port" mod on the back of the DC due to the textures. The game would have to be "real" before I'd even think of modding the DC with an IDE port. I would think that if he is using a DC dev kit, you'd reduce the resolution but make up for the look in rendering.

plus if he's using a devkit he can say goodbye to releasing it via redspot/goatstore/ngdev coz of the legal issues

Interesting. I really like the fact that a DCIO / IDE adapter is mandatory, because this gives the project more freedom in terms of loading speed, assets and textures. I suspect the devkit is only being used for debugging/gdworkshop
