I was online with some new players today. Two of them at different times both said they were unable to register on DC-Talk. They couldn't receive the reg email or something of that nature.

Any thoughts?

It may be related to the problems on the SCHTServ forum, which also uses phpBB. Common US e-mail providers won't receive the confirmation e-mail, including GMail, Yahoo Mail, and MSN. If you register an account with mail.com, though, then registration works.

I'll have to check things out. I did make some recent changes to the way the board sends emails. Definitely have them check their junk email folder too.

Hey I was able to get on after all. it just took years! lol I had to resend the email to mail.com many times but it finally worked just last night!

I'm glad it finally worked for you. I just made a test account and got the confirmation email on my gmail account immediately. I imagine sometimes the server is slow at sending. I hope it continues to work properly.
