I bought 3 ntsc-j dreamcasts the other day and im wondering if there is any difference between the 3000 and 3010 models? Which one is the best to rebuild/use? I have a 220v psu coming to put in it and I plan to use it for my import games.

Re: Ntsc-j models
I don't know about the tech differences, but the 3000 is the older of the 2, though I suppose that make sense doesn't it?

Re: Ntsc-j models
As it turns out its just a 3000 case with 3010 internals. These dreamcasts are out of arcade machines and there is a funny looking chip called a mode chip 3 patched onto the main board. Does anyone know anything about these chips?
