Configuring PSO with BBA.

Post by PSO »

Hi. I registered to ask about how to configure your dc and pso to use the bba.

How is it done? PSO is not compatible with the BBA. But there's a work around.. Can someone help?

Thanks!

If you mean Ver.1, the short form is that you first need to set up a fake dial-up ISP with your web browser (user name, password, and number to dial, all of which are bogus) and save that to the flash memory. Insert PSOv1, save your serials to the flash memory, turn off the DC, then remove the modem, connect the BBA, and insert PSOv2 (US). Save your PSOv2 serials to the flash memory, then select "Website" on the title screen to access the BBA configuration screen. Save your settings to the flash memory, then power off the DC again on the title screen, switch back to PSOv1 (after using BlueCrab's loader), create a character, select online mode, enter your serials again, and connect. You can then continue to play Ver.1 or convert your character to Ver.2 if you want to play that version (which you probably will, as it can do a lot more than Ver.1 can).

Hi. No, I am using version two. I don't have the beta version

The case says there is only modem support... What is the workaround for version two?
Thanks.

Yeah PSOv2 Supports BBA, it also supports DHCP unless your connecting to another device to get wifi off it.

I use my laptop to share my wifi through the ethernet port and works flawless.

You could also set up a Raspberry Pi to do the same, or just plug it into the router.
