[IDEA] Some form of possible retailer for Broadband Adapter?

I am constantly looking around all over the place for one single Broadband adapter (reasonably priced). Now of course, I've not succeeded. But this isn't going to be a post about me complaining and ranting about that. I'm actually, and hear me out on this, thinking of some sort of 'micro retailer' type thing specializing in tracking these things down, and selling them for a decent price, rather than the $200-300 USD Price tag that is seen by mostly all who try to buy the only ones that are available on Ebay, Amazon, etc. that are usually sealed. I am aware of how rare these are, but it would be nice if someone were to acquire them constantly, and sell them, and have some sort of marketplace for it, if you will.
So that's just a concept that I thought I needed to throw out there. If such an online store exists, and makes this post pointless, tell me, I'd be more than glad to know, and spread the word.

Production of the BBA was discontinued likely over a decade ago. Those people selling it on ebay don't have a secret supplier they are just reselling a hard to find item and making some money. The only way a retailer would exist selling them for cheap is if some person went on ebay and bought them all and then started selling cheaper than they bought them for out of the kindness of their heart. It's not likely there will ever exist a cheaper bba aside from the occasional uninformed seller that doesn't know what it's worth. The only way there ever would be is if someone was able to design their own bba somehow and have enough demand to justify lowering the price. The good news though is you can get online using the modem instead.

In which case, time to dig out the old phone line for the time being. Pretty sure if I camp at the local retro stores, I'm bound to find a BBA. Although if the 56K works fine for me, I guess the BBA would be unnecessary.

Problem with this idea, once you have one spot were you bundle relatively low priced... fortune seekers will buy them all and resell them again on ebay/amazon.
