Which do you perfer? The Nomad (Basically, a portable Gennesis) or the Genesis itself?

I pesonally like the genesis better but the Nomad was a great idea that failed due to limited battery life and high cost.

That is exactly how I feel about it.

Ive never played a Gennesis so I cant say, next older console I would get would be Saturn

kinda my feelings on it too. that's why i bought one about month ago. i figured if i was going to buy an old console i wanted a Saturn. this Wednesday i have to go pick up my lightgun and 4 games to use with it.


i own a genesis but i still want a nomad. i have a game gear and i don't play it. idk how much i would use the nomad but i still feel like having a portable genesis would be cool.

I have to go with the Genesis here simply because it is easier for two players to have fun (sharing a screen that small is difficult) and the power consumption for the Nomad is insane! Aside from that, the Nomad is a great portable for single player Genesis games on the go as long as you have a power adapter for the car.

i thought you can hook the nomad to a tv too?

I think you're able to hook it to a TV and link them together for multiplayer games.

I always wanted a Nomad, though I wouldn't give up my Genesis for it.
