Yep. It's about time.

You know that lastcallgames recently reviewed Spirit of Speed 1937, right? Guess who told him to do it…

I just wanna say sorry, lastcallgames. I should have never made you sit and play through this monstrosity. So, to make it up for you, I brought myself into the same category by doing this review/gameplay video.

Yeah, it's more like a gameplay video, but has the feeling of a review, kind of. Also, I threw in a surprise ending just for lolz.

I think it's a decent review, but there are some mistakes. When I mention that the camera is backwards, I was looking in the mirror. durp :P

Also, I don't own one of those game capture things, so the quality isn't very good. Then again, that's probably reasonable for this particular game. There's background noises, too. But it's pretty funny if you ignore those flaws.

I do think that I can do better, but for now, we have this, and that's good enough, I hope.

I won't bother do type this review up (Because I'm feeling lazy. Don't worry, the next one will be typed up), so I'll just leave you with this direct link to the video. Enjoy!

Oh wait, gotta give it a rating.

Gameplay: 6
The tracks are really boring (especially with slow cars). Moving your car feels kinda stiff, and whenever you hit a wall, you spin out of control.

Graphics: 4
It looks like early Nintendo 64, which is unacceptable.

Sound: 8
The music in this game is not too bad, but there's very few of it. The sounds of the cars, however, are atrocious.

Replay ability: 6
Once you finish all of the tracks, there is nothing else offered.

Affordability: 10
Affordable, but too expensive for a cruddy game like this.

Final Score: 34/100 (or 3.4/10)

BONUS: Count how many times I say "terrible", "horrible", and "Never buy this game"! I guarantee you you'll get big results.

Something tells me you're not old enough to be driven to drink by this game. Nice review, and I did like the music, but it doesn't play when you drive.

BTW, for the DC I use one of these (http://www.amazon.com/Pinnacle-Systems- ... le+capture) that I hook up to a VCR so it splits the video.

I'll try and stay sober. I just won't touch it very often.

And the worst part is, several months ago, I showed this game to one of my brothers, and he thought it was fun.

Yeah, not having music while actual gameplay is a real bummer.

Nothing. I just warned him about it, but he wanted play it and thought it was the most fun out of all the other games I had at the time (Episode 1: Racer, Monaco Grand Prix).

But when I got SA and Crazy Taxi, he played those a little bit, and thought they were "kinda fun".

Why can't my bros have any respect for the DC? I guess they're just casuals. Heck, even my dad played it (which was the very first time he's touched a controller in his life), and he had a fun time.

Oh, and one time, I mentioned Alien: Isolation to him, and he thought it sounded like a kids' game.

He should guess again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRX2ntm2rXQ
