Hey guys,

I've been working on this for a few months. Its now finally complete and offically launched as of today

Image

Introducing DreamPipe.net. Its the old PlanetWeb homepage restored and up to date with the current DC scene. Though i will update it away from the old PlanetWeb design over time. Now you can boot up your browser, and check the news in the scene, and alot more

Features:

-Extensive VMU save library
-Functioning SFD video portal
-Functioning MP3's
-Online player directories
-Dreamcall directory (dreamcall doesn't seem to function at the moment; looking into it)
-IM directory
-Browser games
-Rankings for select games *Coming Soon*
-A web directory
-Calendar of all online meets, and contests/challenges at dc-live
-Contests with prizes *Coming Soon*
-E-mail discussions *Coming Soon*
-User submitted "shop" section
-Overview of all current online titles and links to patched saves and guides
-Easy Dreamcall access (Not functional at this time)
-Easy IRC access
-Polls
-Up to date news on the Dreamcast scene, updated regularly
-Open community submissions of videos, MP3's, directory contact info, shop listings, rankings, VMU content, and whatever else you can think of to contribute

But i'd really like this to be mostly community driven. So any and all content submissions and suggestions are welcomed, appreciated and strongly insisted. The only limit is any submitted video must be less than 2:30

In addition I restored the Sonic Adventure 1 homepage in the same manner, with higher functionality than the one dc-t is hosting now (nothing against dc-t and staff, i just have more time than they). It will launch one week from this post. With a separate announcement thread

I hope everyone enjoys having an authentic, relevant, community based browsing experience on their Dreamcast. I'm proud of it the way it is now, but i'm going to continuously update into something better over time hopefully. I'll be hosting whatever servers i can as well 8-)

Any updates will be posted in a log here :
Known bugs: Some archive links that need to be fixed and search functions don't work

I've actually decided to redesign lol
Don't think its a good idea to just repub a site other people own. I could probably get away with SA1 but for now i'll use my better judgement for the portal. It might not take too long

Yeah its probably only going to take a few days. I have the toolbar and header done already, aside from the icon inbetween but its looking nice already. The media icon needs a lower fontsize too

Wow! Anybody bringing all these original features back to browsing from a Dreamcast has my utmost respect! I just need to find a netopia somewhere.

I always wanted to see how videos look after you download them to your console.
