Friends, I come back from "pawnshopping" with bad news....
I went to 3 different pawn shops in 3 completely different areas, and I have not seen one DC item.

No controllers, no VMU's, no consoles, and most of devastating of all:
NO GAMES

Well, this can be either good or bad...
Either everyone wants a DC, or no one does.

Which one could this be?

maybe its in the trash behind the pawn shop.... lol just joking.

Do you have a play and trade in your town?
I do and they sell dreamcast and all systems that came before it.

They have like 20 controllers and like 5 vmus and tons of games at the shop by my house but if you did have one it might not be the same

The closest place I can find DC games is about 100 miles away, at a Game Crazy. Everywhere else is just pawn shops, and the local Game-X-Change is went out of business (possibly because I was the only buyer, lol).

I agree the last time I saw something Dreamcast besides on the internet was a system at a flea market for $5.

Yeah I haven't seen anything dc related locally in about 2 years. I remember when toys r us was selling out all their dc stuff and then gamestop and eb games stopped carrying dc stuff shortly after that. I use eBay and specialty gaming sites now and then.

I just went across town to another Game-X-Change, and they had PSX, NES, and even N64's, but no Dreamcast anything!

The pawn shops around where I live still have a lot of Dreamcast material.

Too bad all the games rarely have the original case and manual.

Canada is getting a bit scarce on all things DC.

I'll say...very heart breaking.

I knew this would happen someday, but I didn't think it would happen to everyone. Supply and demand with the Sega Dreamcast?

If everyone wants a Dreamcast, and no one (even pawn shops) carries them, then DC items will be VERY rare. Even cheap stuff like MDK2 will go really high. That is the place, that I one day, want to live in. I never really had anything that somebody wanted really badly....
