The source code for the original Postal has been released and the original devs are requesting that someone port it to the Dreamcast! Well I guess technically they said "Dremcast" but I'm fairly certain that's a typo. Some talented developer get on this and add online multiplayer while you're at it!

Has anything come of this porting to the Dreamcast?

Last time i tried (it was in Early 2017), i was not even able to get the game to work properly on Linux.
The good thing is that it does not use hardware acceleration, which makes things a bit easier.
The game uses SDL 2.0 but that can be switched to SDL 1.2 with some efforts.

However, the code is a huge mess, especially the code that handles directories and filepaths.
It hates relative paths and i need that for the DC. Usually, it's not an issue except this one...

Okay, just thinking outside the box... But, could JoshProd publish it with the teams blessing? Would be awesome to have a post-death release on the DC!
