Well, if it were an actual property of Sega. Meaning if the Stock Certificate were still valid under the "Sega Enteprises,LTD" brand and could still be sold as a bond.

But "Sega Enterprises,LTD" no longer exists so you have nothing to worry about.

But it is not illegal to sell ownership of bonds or stocks even if the company is still in existence as long as we're not talking about a private company like an LLC or a different corporate form like a partnership which have restrictions on transferring equity ownership... Creditors and shareholders sell and transfer their ownership of bonds and stocks (respectively) all the time.
