Hello guys, hopefully this forum is still active as most sega or dc forums are now inactive or shutdown from hackers but I just bought this from china.

I have 3 questions.

1 - When I get it, can I d/l a 2011 roster which is a dci file or whatever from my pc via online, put it on sd card in my pc sd slot, put sd card in sd reader of dc, open file in dreamshell 4 cd, then transfer the dvi nba 2k2 2011 roster from sd to my actual dc vmu ?

I hope yes.

2 - What brand sd cards or size can I use 4gb or 32 gb or ?

3 - One last thing, where do I d/l back up ISOs of WORKING sd card games dc games like I have sonic 1 but can I d/l iso or can I burn my sega sonic 1 cd to sd on dreamcast (I believe I must install dreamshell IN my dc but I don't want to put 4 rc1 beta in my system) ?

I don't have an sd card yet but I hope I can answer your questions.

1. Files from SD to VMU: Yes. The File Manager in Dreamshell has a vmu folder where you can save/sort your vmu files.

2. It supports up to 32GB SDHC card.

3. theisozone.com has a section where you can download many dreamcast sd isos. Check them out for more info.

I can't speak for any SD card readers but...

I was able to use Dream Explorer to transfer an NFL 2k2 roster update to my VMU pretty easily. It comes pre-loaded with a ton of VMU saves.

Hello guys thank you. So in Dreamshell 4 I can transfer a dci (nba2k2 roster update) from china dreamcast sd card reader to my dc vmu ?

Ok I do that when dreamshell cd is in dc, or do I have to load dreamshell setup in my dc bios/os ?

How do I put the dci roster file on my sd card ? Do I d/l dci file on my pc from online, insert sd card in my pc, put dci on sd...then put that sd card in my sd dreamcast reader, then transfer it on dreamshell to vmu ?

I am a noob at this so any simple step by step answers would help me. I'm not too tech savy.

Why did you link me to "VMU tool" ?, if that cd is in dreamcast how can I transfer sd files to vmu ? I have this cd but only option is "load from cd" uhhh nba2k2 2011 dci update isn't VMU tool cd so that is useless, and I can't transfer from "pc to vmu" so why did you link me to that ?
