Thanks to hombrew and indie gaming as well as various other Dreamcast sites like this one ans ISO communities, the console doing fine for those that stuck around

I've been making Dreamcast themed videos for years, believe it or not it does seem to make a bit of a difference.

People send me messages all the time telling me they're getting a Dreamcast because of the videos.

This could increase demand for independent games. Perhaps this is why we're getting Redux.

Now, those positives aside, the Dreamcast is never going to make a comeback.

I wouldn't have it any other way. In my eyes the system is a classic! I'm perfectly satisfied with this official library, the homebrew and indie scene as well the ISO community.

They don't have to name it DC 2, or MS Plus, or Genesis: Return to the Blue Lagoon, or Saturn 2 ⅓...

Just a new piece of hardware would be nice.

yeah if they did a fresh console not a "SEQUEL" then yeah great, but if they marketed it as the sequel to DC I'd be a bit irritable lol
