Well the controller is fine. My idea is kind like upgrading the console a little bit more with something on the hand of VMU integration. Like intended in this video

That way the VMU could be more useful than dying every time you put a new battery in. And also Have some more Dreamcast Development with VMU support internal flash memory or how ever the Dreamcast reads memory. a rechargeable battery and maybe something more or less just something along the lines ??
Aslo VMU games could have a bit more too them, with a 32 bit GBA like graphics more if itts possible. the parts for that kind of graphics are dirt cheap, the nD has a game console made that cheap. On the controller, maybe get 2 analog sticks working.
