I can have success with PCI modem in my experiments

But yeah, neee to have good driver installed

No voice Conexant SoftModem (actualy is voice, but linux driver dont support, windows does)

Custom Script, uses 1 ATA to act as tone noise "like" and another to actual connection. If enabled, Blind dial games dont even need that tone sound.

Dial some seconds after first ATA
Full speed.

A bump to a great script by Scrivani, that doesn't require modem with voice support. Attaching a slightly updated version that loads Daytona libraries as well with the updated VM image. Tested, Daytona worked fine with a modem without voice support.

Not really. This was for exceptional cases, but the ideal is to continue recommending hardware voice modems

Get the script an update like dreampi 1.9 or it doesn't need?

TTL and DNAT updates are related to the script and from the first glance should be easy to back-port to the PC-DC script (both updates only increase reliability). I might try to do that when I have time (and if someone doesn't do that faster).
