Evil Dead: Hail to the King

Post by Kannibal »

Damn....First time I played this game was back when it came out in PSX.

yesterday my friend told me he had the PC version and I didn't beleive him cause I didn't know this games was on PC. so he put it on my flash drive and I got to play it with way better graphics and better sound.

is it me or do both of these verisons have different story tree?
the first time you go through the maze in the PSX version you end up outside the Redneck Inbred house and on the PC version I always end up back at the house!!1

[not asking for help]

who else has had this problem?[assuming this forum has some of those gamers that played rare ol' skoo pc games]

the thing that interested me the most about this game was that Bruce Campbell did the voice acting for ash. Bruce as been in many weird movies and shows over the years. things such as the Evil Dead movies and Man with the Screaming Brain. today he is probably best known for his role as Sam on the show Burn Notice.

i should play this game more. it has sat in my collection for far to long. i think the longest i played it for was 15 minutes.

This game wasn't too good IMO. It felt like a Resident evil clone that just didn't make it.

The controls were stiff and the endless about of bad guys really grinds on my nerves. The setting is done very well though. Problem is the gameplay. I think they fixed that with new Evil Dead games. They made them into what it was supposed to be a horror-ish beat em up.

fist full of boom stick was very good! Regeneration is the one that probably went all the way and I did liked it, exept for the midget which didnt make the game scary
