Famistu of course is Japan's biggest gaming new source and community!
“I’m currently doing my best at Sega’s N Pro research and development section, where we are currently working on arcade games and new products. The ‘N’ stands for ‘New’ and ‘Next’ so I’d like to be able to deliver some news regarding the Sega Genesis in the near future.”
"N Pro"(obviously Away 27's new name) refers to "New and Next". SEGA hasn't used these terms in 16 years! "Next Gen"?! And as for the "Genesis", remember, if this is related to the classic platform, it wouldn't refer to Japan because the moniker was only used in the Northern Hemisphere. Could Ishikawa be referring to something else? A new product?
Wait a minute? Didn't Ishikawa say exactly that in his interview?
SEGASammy also formed a new mysterious new division called Sega Entertainment Corporation,Ltd last fall. As of this June, SEC has a "Procurement division" and both Hajime Satomi and Naoya Tsurumi have appointed themselves the CEO and COO of the new division.
