Luckily for me, mine has been running just fine; I have had mine for less than a year though. I really like my 360 but I don't know if I would even bother to replace it if it would RRoD on me.

Aren't those $100 I don't feel like shelling out that much for something that might not work.

I would take the cheaper route and just buy a router that I would be able to run DD-WRT on and run it in bridge mode. That would probably cost around $50 for better hardware. Either way, leeching off someone else's wireless network is not cool.

The DS Wi-Fi range is very short so that may not be a good indication of finding an access point. You can purchase handheld acces ppoint indicators for dirt cheap. They look like usb jump drives.

My cousin went through 3 Xbox 360's before the year even
ended. It was pretty ridiculous...

My friend moved to PS3 recently when his 7th unit broke down...he said that he is going to sell everything to the local gamers around where we live...he said that since his Halo 3 is a Launch copy, he isn't going to get rid of it...lol...I was actually thinking of getting a 360 just to play Gears of War 1 and 2!!! but i guess not since all those units are from a single owner...

My Friend 360 had messed up and he knew a guy that could fix it and all the only problem was something was outta place. Its kinda a ripoof to send it to microsoft since they charge so much for so little.
