usa DC with Japan broadband adapter?

Hi all,

I am in the processing of getting the old grey box back online. I see lots of JP broadbands for sale on ebay. Do preowned JP braodband adapters work on USA DCs? Do they work with most home internet connections?

Yes they work on all Dreamcast consoles. You can connect from home without issues.

But why don't buy a Dreampi kit so you have more compatibility to play more games online?

In short: Find out the model number.

If it is from the actual Japanese Dreamcast (HIT-401 or it might say HIT-400 under the box sticker) then "yes". If it is a black BBA (actually known as LAN Adapter but can be mistaken for a BBA) that is HIT-300, then "no".

To add, Dreamcast accessories are generally region-free!
