Re: openMenu Alpha 1
I noticed an issue with OpenMenu and arcade sticks.
When using a controller, you can use L and R to scroll through your game list faster.
However, when using an arcade stick, L and R get replaced with Z and C, and Z and C have no function in OpenMenu. So you don't have a way to scroll faster through the game list.

Re: openMenu Alpha 1
Unless the firmware was changed so LB outputs LT & RB outputs RT on the stick and forego the the multi-button output. There are a few games which have different actions on Z, C, LT & RT. Meaning all four buttons are treated separately.Jaxel wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 12:08 pm I noticed an issue with OpenMenu and arcade sticks.

Re: openMenu Alpha 1
Correct. What I'm saying is, it would be nice if you could use Z and C to fast scroll as well as L and R... since even the official Dreamcast Agetec Stick doesn't have L and R.MoeFoh wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 12:51 pmUnless the firmware was changed so LB=LT & RB=RT on the stick and forego the the multi-button output. It would be up to megavolt85 to update the openmenu code, then. Nice haul of sticks!Jaxel wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 2:35 pmCorrect. Re: openMenu Alpha 1
@megavolt85 I've taken the liberty to fork your repo and hack away at it here: https://github.com/sbstnc/openmenu. This builds just fine on KallistiOS v2.1 already, and I haven't noticed any bugs using the resulting 1ST_READ.BIN on my Dreamcast. Take what you need from it
