[SOLVED] VMU now hiding saves ..

I was dicking around in emulator compilations .. y'know how that be .. press shit tryna back into menu and/or damn exit .. so it molests your VMU .. the shit no one asks for

I look in BIOS and half my VMU is hidden .. the games don't know better either .. in VMU Tool Dream Explorer it indeed sees my saves which are inaccessible now , and does not see conflicts to weed out

What's my next move ? Get another VMU and pray that it will just transfer it all over ? I suppose I can disable copy protection and my PSOv2 char would just be fine ?

Hooray ! Yet another VMU in and VMU Tool Dream Explorer transfers all with no problem ! So now glitched one finally formatted

When I pull tab the new VMU beeped .. but it won't beep when power on Dreamcast .. is that to worry about ?

EDIT: Also , is unlocking the extra 41 blocks safe ?
