Chat Area *new*

The Chat Area has undergone some changes. The Chat room is now built into the forums. If you are registered on the Forums, you can use your user name to chat with. When you are logged in, just visit the chat room link located on the top menu bar. http://dreamcast-talk.com/forum/chat.php

This is a much simpler way to chat. NO extra registration needed. Hope to see you guys in there, have fun!

Note: as simple as this chat room is, it is still not compatible with Dreamcast Web Browsers.

Update: The current chat system is not compatible with Dc browsers. We are testing others besides an IRC that might work.

Well ive been using the chat, and its very good!

Only problems are that no-one hardly uses it (the only person ive seen is K_I_R_E_E_K) and when i had connection problems yesterday, it kept on spamming the chatbox with "codstr entered the chatroom" and "codstr exited the chatroom" which i apologise for

may I suggest you add a "chat" option on the bar under "dreamcast-talk" > (user control panel.x new messages.faq.search.CHAT.members.etc...)
I've seen this on a few sites & its really handy
