Modem command settings, I believe all sega browsers 1.0 - 2.65 have it.JohnBatman wrote:Tried re-entering the normal DNS servers and using those, no luck with either.pcwzrd13 wrote:I would try re-configuring the Dreamcast using the PlanetWeb option from the XDP main menu. You could try using 46.101.91.123 and 8.8.8.8 as the DNS servers.
One of those attempts produced this message in my modem's SNMP Event Log: "Dynamic Range Window violation"
Is there another name for this? I went through all the settings on my modem and didn't find anything with that name or close.Xiden wrote:Curious, what are your modem AT command settings? Wondering if those got botched some how

On my computer? Sure, but the Pi's connection doesn't go through there, right?
If you mean on my router, I just checked and firewall protection is off.

Just curious and I'm certainly no expert but did you set your router to allow all traffic

I'm not finding an option that says that. Is there another name for that?
This is probably a dumb idea, but in case the router is the problem, could I connect the ethernet cable from the Pi to my notebook and somehow connect through there?

Re: "Unable to load the requested document" (DreamPi won't go online)
So my ISP decided to come and change my router, and guess what: the Dreamcast goes online now!
And to answer my own question:
1. Connect an ethernet cable from the Pi to my notebook
2. Go to "Network and internet settings" and click on "Change adapter options"
3. Disable all the connections there except for my wifi and the ethernet connection
4. Right click the wifi connection, properties, sharing, check both options
5. Turn on or reboot the Dreampi and it should go online
So I can finally load websites via PlanetWeb! Now if I could just start a Toy Racers race without the game crashing... (I should probably find an older CD burner that supports 4X)

Yep! Wish I'd tried this sooner, but all I had to do was:JohnBatman wrote:This is probably a dumb idea, but in case the router is the problem, could I connect the ethernet cable from the Pi to my notebook and somehow connect through there?

Re: "Unable to load the requested document" (DreamPi won't go online)
I’ve been having this same issue. The Dreampi initially worked and i was able to connect. I’ve attempted both WiFi and wired with no success. I reset all the connections, tested out my router (i have a nighthawk x6) on different consoles, plugged turned off all the unnecessary ports after connecting a laptop in, and still am not able to connect.
