in my opinion that's a no use project, because you can't make stand-alone games with it =S to run the games you do with it, you must use both the game and the memory card
Oh, how I wish there was an active English community around this Dream Studio software. We could all make "new games" and transfer them online for everyone to enjoy!
I imported this back in the day and played it a lot. I made some simple things, but like any RPG maker, stuff got complicated (not to mention, at the time the language barrier for myself too.) There were also a lot of VMU files online to download of things made by Japanese gamers. I think I remember playing a survival horror RE game. There's a lot of games I'd love to see translated for Dreamcast so more people can experience them, but its not like old NES/SNES rom patches with DC games sadly.
Sorry for digging up an old thread, I just found myself interested in this and wondered if anyone knew if any vmu files for RPGs exist still from the original community around this game, it’s really tough to create a game with the language barrier but it would be really cool to check out some games made in the software

Speud's VMU tool has 5 saves, dunno if they are any good. VMU Tool is always a good place to start with these sorts of questions. It's far from complete, but hard to beat a large library of saves.
