TRried everything to get online with pso..

My web browser works, ive tried everything original copy of PSO ver 2 pal with the ip address of schthack and DCT. Failing that i tried the the auto loads of both DCT and Schthack and neither are working althoguh the DCT one says server might be down. I am using a BBA btw

QUESTIONS:

1. Are you using a router?

2. If so, you may want to configure the Dreamcast to be a static IP and then put it into..."THE DMZ ZONE".

3. If you do not nkow how to do this, most routers come with a toll free number with free tech support, you'd just have to tell them what you want to do.

4. After you answer these, I can go the next step - if there is one (Dr. DNS). If you do not know about Dr. DNS, you may have not read our connection guide. We also have a special DC-Talk version to help you connect to the C-Talk server.

yeah im using a router only problem is the dr dns doesnt work with my mac. and im not good with router settins..

Dean, this is where you have to get your router manual and call the number. Let tham know you want to set the Dreamcast IP to static and then DMZ on the Dreamcast only. This is what you need to do first. They will walk you through it, no worries.

I've been helping Dean via PM. He just needs to use an autoconnect v2 PAL. But first he needs to configure bba use with pso by going to the website option in the US v2. Then you should be able to connect with the autoconnect version. Make your IP and DNS fields are 0.0.0.0

having alot of trouble with schthack freezes alot =/
even on the DCT server it freezes when i try to start a quest.

I'm not sure about the quest thing, and I have been PM'ing HUmar Dean as well. I'm glad you got him online, Impulse. I was on PSO last night and this morning, you may want to start using the game scheduling forum so you can alert others. I just don't recommend "last minute" postings.

Since both servers are probably very far away from you, it will cause that. I apologize for that happening on dc-t server. Unfortunately there isn't much we can do about it.

I'm surprised it happens to you even alone. Usually this is a problem when playing with others and doesn't always happen.

Yes, there is only 1 ship on DCT most of the time. Sometimes we have more. There is actually a European ship, solaris that's on sometimes. I'm sure you wouldn't have the problem on there.
