Va1 and va0 hardware compatibilities

I have to change the Dremcast motherboard From va1 to va0,
I saw that the fun pin is different: Va1 has 3 pin Va0 only 2 pin.

This is the only difference ?

How can I connect a va0 fun 2 pin to the 3 pin va1 ?
