New Game! Swirling Blades: Desert Thunder

Hi everyone!

This is my submission for the Dream On Game Jam. It's a demo of a larger game I'm working on and the first true test of my Simulant Game Engine.

Known Issues:

• It's a little slow, I'm going to spend the next month or so profiling and optimising Simulant to improve this.
• It occasionally crashes/freezes on load. This is a race condition I didn't get to track down before the jam deadline. - Fixed.
• The controller deadzones aren't quite right. - Fixed.
• If you fly off the map, you're in for a bad time.
• Sometimes it freezes at the mission complete/failed screen. - Fixed.
• Some of the game UI is glitchy on hardware. - Fixed.

I think I told you on Twitter when you first revealed this engine how much I love the combat game series of helicopter games. I am so happy you decided to make a full game from this! It would help to sell this game if you had a video showing current gameplay IMHO.
