Beharbros: Dreamcase Pre-order

Last week I received a email from Beharbros.
A while back I ordered the Toro from them and enjoying it since.

Now they are offering a custom case for the Dreamcast with a custom fan, power supply and a DCHDMI opening.

Information:

Now I send them a email because I own a USB-GDROM which is not supported.
Their responds: If your USBGDROM has an inwards USB port, then it should be compatible with it.
My USB-GDROM is inwards so I have pre-ordered the Dreamcase.

The back shows a custom port for the DCHDMI mod which I dont have yet... (searching for someone to do this for me )

Not that it looks bad or anything but why would anyone want to replace the classic Dreamcast design with something that looks like a generic NUC or Apple TV?

I would. But that is because I also like the internal mods so it nice and cooled.
Still searching for a good replacement original case because my has some scratches on it.

Not sure if I keep it in this case but I love the fact they are still supporting the Dreamcast community with new products.

For sure, I don't want to sound like a hater or anything. Those guys are awesome and love all their great Dreamcast products.

I'm definitely not a purist as I have DCHDMI and GDEMU and I just don't see the point. With a PSU mod, Noctua fan and GDEMU tray the Dreamcast internals are cool enough. Dreamcast console design is timeless and awesome

I wanted a clear case (black or transparent) but not able to get my hands on it.

DCHDMI looks so sweet but I need to get some help installing it.

I'm comfortable doing most mods but DCHDMI was beyond my skill level. Definitely worth the money if you play DC a lot!

In my opinion it's a missed opportunity they didn't go all in, and make the "dreamcase" the all-in-one solution (DreamPi, regular SD-card and wireless controller-'dongle' integration, I'm looking at you).

Recieved the Dreamcase today and it feels and looks amazing!
Still need some time to fit the Dreamcast but I think it looks nice.

Please note that the blue front and back also can be red, but I am living in Europe and used to the blue color.
