I know it may never happen without the source to it to be able to hook into the GDEMU menu API, but how amazing would it be to have that nice menu to go through games? It would be even more awesome than the 2D menu we have now.

Sorry for shit quality, but imagine utilizing this menu to load up all of our games from GDEMU? It even gives a nice description when you click on a game.
I know how to do this kind of compilation.
There is a tutorial on the French site Dremagain but at the time I had preferred the other solution with the browser like Jeffma's compilations which was also easier to set up.

check my last post...
you could easily do this ShindouGo.
besides dreamon is wince executable and is limited in comparison to browser mod.
i do like how dreamon scrolls though...

now think about it you can also mod generator v1 and v2 if you wanted..

these can all be modded to load bins:

generator v1 and v2
planetweb
dreamkey
dreampassport
ginsu (katana) SDK <--what i use, its simple as can be.
dreamon
odcm
and more

Jeffma has always only offered commercial games in web browser-based menus. The only "homebrew" I have seen in compilations using the web browser is bleem.bin (no binhack to do whatever the game's lba).

You can actually play music or videos but it uses features already present in the browser.

For example to read an ADX : x-avefront://---.dream/proc/play/adx/dpwww/AV/MUSIC.ADX

To play a video : x-avefront://---.dream/proc/play/mpeg/dpwww/AV/MOVIE.SFD

I'm also in the process of finishing a compilation with menus for a Bleemed game (Raystorm).
There will be French and English language with information on the game, images, game music and 2 videos offering a trailer and the 1st level of the game.
I used for that the 2 functions that I quoted above for audio and video.

yes, 1bleem.bin just need to unscramble blue cracked beta and disk must be made for 11702 lba since you cant hack the bleem bin lba.
all homebrew loads just like retail wince game executable and 1stread non win ce games do in these ginsu or browser mod multidisks etc, only difference is most homebrew needs to have bin unscrambled.

after you unscramble homebrew bins then manually hack lba with hex editor, then you're good to go

You mean you can successfully run any game even with the web browser method ?
In this case I want you to explain me because there you are interested :)
I have a lot of games that I have never been able to add because they are too recent and I make them on CD-Rom so it did not pass because the binhack did not work.
I admit I never understood the history of scramble and unscramble :)

well, i don't know if every game will work but for all of the retail games i have tried adding to a multidisk using ginsu it has always worked. so I don't see why all other multi menus would'nt work the same. i bet the compatibility is similar to loading games in dreamshell because allegedly dreamshell uses ginsu loader or something similar to load bins or at least i think it does. just remember each .bin need to search for cd00 and then 8 spots from left edit value to 5c 2e for 11702 lba or 6e b0 for 45000 lba.
if it is a wince game then bincon 0WINCEOS.BIN to 1WINCEOS.BIN then edit lba.
If it is a homebrew .bin use binchecker to descramble or use descramble.exe.
http://download.sizious.com/dc/bincheck/bincheck-2.0.7z
once the bin is descrambled then edit the lba in hex editor.
If you can't find cd00 either bin is encrypted or it does not need lba edited.
keep in mind even some of the bins that have cd00 might not look like they need be edited but they do.
so anytime you find cd00 in a bin always edit the lba!
also some games dont use bin for the main game executable i.e pso v2 (uses dp_address.jp or w/e) and i suspect 2k series games???
also if you cant find raw files for homebrew and you can only find the .sbi file, simply use .7z and unarchive the .sbi to get the .bin file :)

If a game doesn't want to load try any of these edits to the main bin:

CD E4 43 6A TO 09 00 09 00

10 32 0D 8B TO 08 00 0D 8B

5E B0 00 00 TO 96 00 00 00

The menu pictures with the xbox like dashboard is sbi builder you use that to make your sbi's to add to the menu i will have to show how

I have a been a little sick anyways can load any bin with it like smith said you have to hack the bins..

In the old days we used sbi so noobs did not have to make selfboot disks of our homebrew

Rename any sbi to zip you can then open it

http://web.archive.org/web/200407040806 ... owse&Demos

can still get all the sbi's just rename to zip open them all the bins are inside

Pretty amazing lot my lost stuff is on sbiffy still onyl just thought if it just rename to zip open you have the bin files lol
