Just to be clear I do not have a dreamcast yet but I really plan on getting one and I have been on the forums almost daily so I am commited. Ok
I wanted to see if this dial up service will work with the dreamcast. You dont sign you can use any username and password and all you do is use one of there acsess numbers dial in. Ive tried the service with my computer and it worked. From what they are saying on there website no ports are blocked either. I was wondering if anybody would like to try it and see how it works becuase it might be a few months before I get the dreamcast. There really is nothing to lose all you do is keep your same username and password and change the number to one of there numbers. I will say the service is meant for california so it will use long distance but if you use voip then that shouldn't be a problem. I want to see if this might make free dial up come back to the dreamcast so you dont have to pay. Any help will be nice. Thanks in advance!

A lot of those free dial-up connections just don't work right with the Dreamcast. I use CityStar and only pay $10 a month for unlimited hours each month. It works perfect for PSO and the occasional web browsing.

Yeah but it seems like this one might work. You dont even have to sign up.

Re: Free dial up that might actually work!
I'm in Texas and don't really want to deal with any long distance stuff, so unfortunately I can't try this for you. Hopefully someone around here can though. I'm sure it'll still be around when you get your Dreamcast, so you can just try it yourself haha. If it doesn't work, then try CityStar. If it does work then...Congrats!
