old French Sega player here, started with Carnival on Colecovision followed by Commodore 64 and Atari ST, the revelation came with the release of the Game Gear and playing GG Shinobi. After the Dreamcast nothing was the same in the gaming land, I have a few others (xbox, gamecube, xbox 360) but nothing like my lovely Dreamcast. In the 90's I had the chance to play a few arcade games, I was dreaming about having Model 2 and 3 arcade games in my home, when I saw the first pictures of the Dreamcast games (Vf3, Sega Rally 2, Shenmue ...) I was sold

The official Dreamcast life was short, it is part of it's legend with the "what if the Dreamcast lasted longer ? How far they could have pushed the system ?", it's stil making lot of us dreaming more than the future ps5 or xbox.
In 2001 we all felt the bitterness when Sega announced the end of the console, but we know that we were right when we bought the Dreamcast instead of selling our soul for a dvd player

I am looking forward to play Online with you in the future, I am just waiting a few more arcade games to be playable online (Daytona Usa, Sega Rally 2, Capcom Fighting Games ...) to buy a Dreampi
