I am interested in setting up a PC-DC server and I'm currently following the guide here http://www.maturion.de/dreamcast/mterlouw/.
I'm using Windows XP, and hoping to send a signal from my notebooks wireless card to its 56k modem. Does anyone have any other guides or links that work well?

As far as i know, that is the original one. So the most reliable one. Other ones are just summarized.

Ok I will give it a shot and post any questions I have. I can't wait to get back in PSO, my character is level 82 or so from when you actually had to pay for a hunters license, I never beat ultimate or even got to some of the stages so I really look forward to playing again.
I have incredibly fond memories of playing Unreal Tournament, Alien Front Online, PSO, and Outtrigger... I wish the servers were all still up
. I never got to play Bomberman Online or Ooga Booga online.

Actually they are attempting to get unreal tournament back online. I heard it could be a few months away from being finished from bob dobbs. I have not found any forums online about the project so its probably private. I hope they can do it.

Re: Best PC-DC Guides
Well, I did get as far as having the UT server recognize the DC, but then the little white box would not recognize the server. I'm done at this point.

So is the project dead? I thought it was a group of people. Oh well it was worth the shot.

Re: Best PC-DC Guides
Aww, that would've been awesome.
Anyway, it looks like I'm going to have to make a voltage line simulator or whatever, I have a newer dreamcast and it isn't doing anything when I press the Ok button in incoming connections (with my modem's box checked) and the dreamcast is dialing. I bought the parts today and I will try to make it tomorrow.

Is it a voice capable modem? Also if it is a usb or serial modem then you do not need one but if it is an internal pci modem then you will need a line volatge inducer.
