How to correctly burn games?

Post by marcosmoutta »

I don't know how to burn games. Most tutorials online give different instructions. 9/10 games I burned don't work.
I don't even know what discjuggler is that's how clueless I am.
Could anyone point me to how to burn the games? Also, how to acquire the CDIs or make them out of GDIs would be really useful to know, but I guess it might be illegal to disclose openly.
So far, my method has been download a cdi from cdromance and burn with bootdreams at 1x speed. Doesn't work well at all.
I'm really scared that my dreamcast might not be too good... the jet set radio I burned works flawlessly tho, so I guess it must be in good condition right? Could someone comfort me on that or tell me the harsh truth?
Thanks, this is my first time ever using a dreamcast at all, and with no official GD roms to test, it's making me very anxious, they're really expensive where I live.

Edit: oh, also, some of the games that worked, like KOF 2002 which is JP, displayed the image offset downwards and with flickering. Almost like it was a pal game! what's going on?

Well If it's got flicker and and offset it be ether PAL or NTSC playing on the wrong signal.. Check the same iso on dc emulator check all before burning them..
