EDIT: A bit silly of me to ask, but what region of the game did you use? NTSC, or PAL.
I used the US version

My idea was to maybe try and recreate some of the Fast and Furious cars in the game and maybe add in some of the famous songs from the movie series.
In the name of the extracted image, there is the beginning of the hexadecimal address. It will therefore be necessary to put the modified image in the same location.

Edit : Oh no, it's the number of the image found. We'll find someone who can help us with that;)

Ah awesome. Do you think you could help me out with rebuilding the textures into the game if I do the work editing them? I think it would be cool to collaborate on it.

Not sure that I'm getting there unfortunately, after we'll see if we can find someone to help us ;)

STR0.BIN is finished. These are the textures of the cars (4788 files lol).
STR1.BIN is in progress and apparently it's the game backgrounds.

Wow gonna be fun going through everything haha, but almost 5k images aren't too impossible to look through. I will break it up into sections to more easily manage hehe. I am looking for Fast and Furious model kit water slide decals, already found a few. This will easily allow me to remake the movie cars from the first few films at least and do decals for other vehicles as well.

Stuff like this should be good enough to use.

Here is just a test, not final. We still need to learn how to rebuild the game before I invest a lot of time into this hehe. Would be pointless to do all cars and then not have a way to use them in game.

Hello,

I think you can rebuild it with swat software here : Universal PVR Extractor/Patcher v1.3.7 by SWAT

you have an extract function -> it extracts all the files in a folder
you have a patch function -> it patches the files
On the other hand I do not know if all the files are needed in the patch folder or only the files that we modify ?
Be careful, you will need to transform your image into .pvr before. (and pay attention to the name of your image)
