That was good fun, not sure why I couldnt connect to dcdingo, but I connected to Gotcha fine. Also retroams and Krispy, we had a real good game as well until it lagged out.

I can't connect to anyone. The game rooms and the chat works, but the game doesn't start.

I didn't find information in the forum about this problem. Does this game needs something specific to start multiplayer games? Can you give me the links with detailed explanation. I really want to tried it with people next time.

Dreamcast internal network ip address needs to have open ports set on your router for worms to work online otherwise the connection will fail (for everyone). By far the easiest way is to find out what the dreamcast IP is using quake (it displays at the end of the connection process very briefly) and then go into your network settings and set your DMZ to that address - assuming your router is capable of that. Setting the DMZ will open all ports from the internet to whichever ip address you specify, so don't do it to your PC IP address for security reasons. If you have no DMZ option in your router settings then use port forwarding rules to achieve the same thing. In the case of Worms TCP 17219 needs to be open. Details here:

Your dreamcast ip address will likely be 192.168.1.98 or 192.168.0.98 but depends on how your router is set up and if there is already something using that ip on your network (probably fairly unlikely)
