Starlink Internet/Elon Musk...question

So...it looks like starlink is about to be available in my area...brother just got the invite...he lives about a mile from my house....starlink will improve my speed by at least 20x what i get now...which is amazing! my only real concern....is from what i understand right now their service is bare bones...they dont allow for things like portforwarding and enabling dmz on devices connected to it......that really worries me.....if i can't enable dmz...wont that pretty much kill my dreamcast experience? dont the sports games and games like AFO only work with dmz?

ncman will be jumping from worst connection to best connection ever.
But yes, if you don't have a way to port forward it's gonna be hard, if you have the money you can keep the normal connection for playing other online games, but I know it might be a little too much. You could ask the starlink team if they are adding the features soon or not, maybe it's already on the works.

Yea im gonna research it more...they use CGNAT which doesnt allow for public IP address...so no port forwarding....but thinling about keeping current isp for dreamcast and still get starlink....maybe get rid of satellite tv to offset pricing
