Yes been saying this a long time pre fetch on the sd card loading the rom on the cdr no stop start.. so yes the crap about it being to slow when it same speed as ps1 cdrom drive .. just to load a small pre fetch is crazy ..fabio14789 wrote:is it possible to make this modification in emulator neogeo aes? dreamcast is a great console to run neogeocd games just need to run neogeo aes to close
Only why aes4all stops starts is it's using mmu thrashing the hell out the cdrom drive and loading at the same time.. the above shows reading 2 places at once yes this would fix aes ..

Can you stream music from the SD while loading assets from the disc? or is better the other way, using the actual CD drive to stream redbook music while the SD is transfering the data.
With that in mind do you think that the dreamcast is capable to reproduce 640x480 videos or widescreen anamorphic movies at said resolution?

Ah shit I was just going to ask if the Dreamcast could handle DVD videos at 60fps whilst reading those specifications. Damn that is pretty great it can go over 24fps videos at DVD quality. If only we could use this codec with the MIL-CD menu to have true DVD menu features.
