I'm not sure what version they are using in that video. It's definitely different than the one I'm running as I'm using the lastest v1.4
I say that because in my menu selection screen I don't even see the option for 'modem connect' that is right below network settings. So I wonder id chilly just completely remove this in the v1.4 release?
In your first post you provided the link to dcemulation with the links for Doom for Dreamcast. At the bottom there is a v1.5b1, maybe that's what they used in that video?
Using same code base as 1.5 etc

Stupid question, are the versions of hexen and heretic linked in the first page stable? Does the keyboard work with them? Thanks in advance

Hey Chewie, if you are referring to the long list of games listed in that 2 disk collection, then those are all doom mods. Those wouldn't be the original Hexen or Heretic games, just mods of doom 2

Mirroring what I've said in Ian's thread, I'm sure that the build used in the RetroSpectors video is Shuouma's unreleased update, which introduced modem support.

I'd love to see his modem compatible builds of DCDoom, Makaqu, and QuakeWorld released publicly and have asked for an update.

another video of online support working . Other half of the same guys I think. Apparently Shu gave them their copy to test but not distribute. I wonder how long ago that was.
