Dreamcast Games you play Online: none yet, didn't realize this was around. Figuring it all out, but I still have my DC and games.

Xenocider on an emu?

Post by marchegiano »

Howdy folks

I've bought the digital and I can burn it and go play it on my DC but I was really hoping to play it on an emulator. I use ReDream currently but it crashes just after the bios screen.

I'm just trying to avoid putting more hours on my actual Dreamcast.

Kind of only somewhat related, if it can't be emulated would it be crazy to buy a new Dreamcast just so I know nothing goes wrong with my old one? I'm just really protective of this particular DC because it's the one I got back in 99. I'd be so much sadder if she fried than any other DC I'm not sure the first 3d game in 20 (20+?) years is worth giving it the chance.

I live in Florida and I do have surge protection, decent rack mounted one at that, but I lost a Genesis years ago during a storm and  never recovered.

Thanks Ian!

I didn't realize how lacking ReDream actually is. Demul is pretty great, I very much appreciate your advice!

Yes it does not support a lot features needed..

Demul is always your best bet.

Redream dev branch is getting better..
