Dreamcast powers off automatically

My Dreamcast just got the DCHDMI installed by a friend. (I certainly can't solder it myself)

Audio and video is fine, but the console switches off by itself after a few seconds.

The console can be powered back on with no problems, but it turns itself off again after that.

I do not believe it's a problem with the controller board, as that has been modded with a resetable fuse.

The only suspect is the ReDream PSU, which is a clone made by Bitfunx.

However, the Dreamcast was working fine without any issues with the PSU prior to the DCHDMI installation.

Please advice.

check your fan is spinning if the fan does not spin it will shut off like this that be my best guess here

Fan is definitely spinning... can hear it buzzing away... I haven't swapped it out to a Noctua I bought awhile ago
