The beautiful Dreamcast

Post by Cass »

I'm not articulate enough to express this point but if there was a school of design in which the ubiquitous and stunning £15 Casio F-91W was the definitive design then I think the Dreamcast would surely be worth an honourable mention.

As I look at my DC resting beside a WII U and my kids assorted Xbox's under the TV it is for me at least much more aesthetically charming.

The Dreamcast design is pure sexiness.

i like the dreamcast design, curve and perpendicular. Max of power in a smallest box.

Not just the Dreamcast, basically every Sega console (perhaps barring the Saturn) looks sleek and sexy. Master System, Genesis/Mega Drive, Dreamcast, especially compared to the competition (NES and SNES are glorified cinder bricks, don't deny it) only low point is the Saturn.

Plus, they're timeless, I could easily imagine the Genesis/Mega Drive being a modern top loader console

After all these years I still love to look at Dreamcasts. In real life and online. ;-)
