i think i got the reason, with the default romrc you can build two aes versions, but the last one (that use a newer mame rom set) does not work correctly.
so, this is the working one, i rebuilt it with an old mame set
a good soccer game, imo a little better than Super Sidekicks serie, because a bit less arcade style
btw, add it to your AES games list if you don't already have it ofc
the game seems working little smooth using some previous aes4all releases than beta4
some hiccups/slowdowns, mostly just at the start of the match, then all fine
