Dreamcast Disc Doesnt spin or Load anymore

I only use my Dreamcast when I am up at my cabin, so it hasn't had much maintenance for awhile.
This Dreamcast has literally thousands of hours on it and it's a version 1 December 1999 date code
Years ago when my dreamcast wouldn't spin I learned about the screw on the gd-rom and that fixed it until today, the screw doesn't do anything now.
What are my best options?
I did buy a GDemu clone back in July 2020 from aliexpress, I don't know what firmware is on it, I never got around to installing it.
I also bought a VGA to hdmi converter, akura? I think, but never got around to trying it, its around here somewhere.
Will this GdEmu still work fine if it is the old firmware?
Since I will be updating it, what other mods should I do?
Power supply?
Fan mod?
wingman SD?
Mclassic?
I haven't been keeping up with the improvements people have come up with.
What would you suggest?
