Just a friendly reminder most (if not, all) of these games will require you to go to your options and set (default) first.
Other games such as Star Gladiator 2 don't set a proper layout, but you can easily search for it, in my case, for said game I use
(A) (B) (K)
(M) (x) (Chouhatsu/taunt)
If your game doesn't have an easy access to set a taunt, always remember to use it, because games like Star Gladiator 2 actually use it for moves! Characters like Bilstein use it to start floating, so it is important to have them.
Games like Marvel vs Capcom 2 and Capcom vs SNK 2, use them while you hold A and press Start, so unleast your game needs it, then there is probably work arounds for it.
