Hello! I've been trying to get my NTSC Dreamcast online using a USB Modem and PC-DC on Debian in a VM. The modem is a Conexant USB Modem (generic clone) with a 12 volt voltage inductor I've made.
What ends up happening is that, every time I get it connected, the modem just hangs up.
I've tried using the PC-DC image, I've tried using with or without a VPN, I've tried different games and software (Sonic Adventure, Chuchu Rocket, PlanetWeb, XDP, WebTV). All of them produces the same result. I've tried using my laptop instead as well.
Nothing. It connects and then it hangs up.
(Attached are the logs from "/var/log/messages")
If any of you need more files, let me know.
Modem keeps hanging up after connecting.

Re: Modem keeps hanging up after connecting.
Good news! I fixed it. Changing the Power Supply for the Voltage Inductor fixed it.
