This is in the description...

"Note: This is an ARG, most of the content in this channel isnt real.
This channel is no way tied to Rockstar Games, DMA Design or Take Two Interactive."

By "ARG" I think he means alternate reality game possibly?

And this is all fake, it looks nothing like what we were told about this game. There was a video somebody made might have been gamesreup that showed off some images from the early development of the game but the game was never in 3P on Dreamcast due to memory limitations. So this is 100% fake. So Dreamcast would have been fully in first person.

Anyways, here is a good video about it.

I've seen these vids, including one actually for max Payne on Dreamcast, judging from how old these IGN vids are, they could be real, the max Payne video was posted on IGNs YT channel

Heres Max Payne on Dreamcast

I was thinking the same .they are low quality videos .I mean if a video has been vandalised to look low u would recognised it .don’t know but it looks original videos to me :x

Plus the dead giveaway is that it is from a finished build of the game. Dreamcast was in first person view according to a quote from last year made by an actual ex Rockstar developer. I know I am not crazy, who else remembers seeing that quote? I can not find it now and don't know anything else but that I saw it on Twitter I believe. and that it was only able to do first person cause third person was too demanding on the engine.

As far as i know, a Dreamcast 3D GTA proto was actually built, before GTA 3. This was confirmed a few months ago by Aaron Garbut, head of development and co-studio head at Rockstar North, on a interview for Gamesradar about GTA Remastered Trilogy.

I´ve asked the channel owner where did he find this videos. Let´s hope he answers soon. They're lowres and look like a legit IGN video from back in the day, that may be was took off before release. But how did he managed to have access? Or it is just a fake? And finally, how possible is to port GTA 3 Open source to DC?

:P BRB. Just going to record some video of God of War and slap some IGN logos on it and claim it’s running on a DC

Thank you yes it was he who I was thinking about that had the interview speaking about it.

"The original team (who'd worked on GTA and GTA 2) had tried pushing the camera behind the car a little in some tests for GTA 2, but there were a few of us who were really excited by the possibilities of freely modeling a world that would stream in as needed and moving the camera right into it. We did some prototypes on the Dreamcast, and through that, got the greenlight to start GTA 3. So as the original team finished GTA 2, we formed a new team around the development of GTA 3."

That also brings up a great idea I had. Obviously GTA 2 on DC is pretty well known to be modable. We could add in PC 3D car models and move the camera behind the car possibly just modding it. I think it would be a great way to get something closer to the 3rd game but with the older engine.
